Elwood Youth (Blue Wave) Wrestling Club, Inc. is a highly competitive youth wrestling program located in Elwood, NY. We are centrally located in the Huntington area of Long Island for the convenience of all wrestlers and coaching staff. All practices take place at John Glenn High School and/or Elwood Middle School.

These young wrestlers are hard working, compete from November through March; some practice all year round, and all are truly a great group of boys, ranging from 1st to 8th grade. Since our inception, 1999, the team founder, Tom Giaramita, has always stressed a wrestler’s growth, respect, positive attitude, good sportsmanship, and high level of competition.

Elwood Youth Wrestling Club, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization that is not affiliated with the Elwood School District.

MISSION STATEMENT

To provide a safe, fun, and challenging wrestling experience to all participants regardless of individual differences. We strive to promote the physical, mental, social, and emotional development of our members through hard work, commitment, competition and camaraderie. The concepts of self-discipline, growth, respect, positive attitude and good sportsmanship are inherent for success in athletics and life.
